Formula
Total Days = (End Date - Start Date) in milliseconds / 86,400,000
Weeks = floor(Total Days / 7)
Remaining Days = Total Days mod 7

End: March 15, 2025
Total Days = 73 days
Weeks = 10 weeks, 3 days
Result: 73 days (or 74 including end date)

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I include the end date in the count?
It depends on context. For event duration (how many days is a trip), include the end date. For time elapsed (days since an event), exclude it.
How many days are in a year?
A regular year has 365 days. A leap year has 366 days. Leap years occur every 4 years (except centuries not divisible by 400).
Does this count weekends?

Can I count days backwards?
